Shine's abrasion-resistant and flexible polyurea coating.

We will introduce polyurea coating technology for engineers.

"Polyurea coating" refers to a processing method that forms a film by spraying polyurea resin onto an object. Polyurea resin is a compound primarily composed of urea bonds, generated by the chemical reaction between isocyanates and polyamines. *************Features of Polyurea Coating************* 1) Quick drying The time required for curing (touch dry) after spraying is just a few seconds. 2) Applicable to a wide range of objects Since it does not require heat treatment, it can be applied to materials with low heat resistance. It is compatible with metals, resins, engineering plastics, ceramics, glass, wood, rubber, concrete, etc. 3) Excellent chemical resistance It can be used under acidic and alkaline conditions. 4) The coating has a good balance of strength and elongation. It is highly impact-resistant and flexible, making it less prone to cracking.

Polyurea Coating for Civil Engineering and Construction Materials [Shine Kogei]

We will provide wear resistance and impact resistance to civil engineering and construction materials.

Shine Kogei handles contract processing of polyurea coatings. "Polyurea coating" refers to a processing method that forms a film by spraying polyurea resin onto the target object. Polyurea resin is a compound primarily composed of urea bonds, generated by the chemical reaction between isocyanates and polyamines. Polyurea coatings have extremely high abrasion resistance and impact resistance. For civil engineering and construction materials used under harsh conditions, the following examples of polyurea applications can be envisioned: 1) Providing abrasion resistance to resin pipes and sheets exposed to the outside ⇒ Protects the substrate from rainwater and sediment. It also has a function to protect against degradation from ultraviolet rays. 2) Providing abrasion resistance to materials that heavy machinery and construction equipment pass over ⇒ Even when a caterpillar (continuous track) passes over the polyurea coating, the film endures the load. Additionally, it has a slip resistance effect, contributing to improved safety.
